If complete separation is required, a special auxiliary tool can be used to support the bottom of the slider to prevent the retainer from deforming, thus preventing steel balls from falling out.

2. Q: What are the key points to pay attention to when extending the HGR rail?

A: When extending, prioritize using rails from the same batch to ensure dimensional consistency. The ends to be joined should be aligned with a thermal expansion gap of 0.03–0.05mm. After installation, check the straightness with a straightedge to ensure an error of ≤0.01mm per 100mm. Additionally, the mounting holes should be staggered to avoid affecting the smooth operation of the slider.
